The body of the 46-year-old Nigerian man who was hit and killed by a car that ran the green light while crossing state road 554, at the traffic lights for Selargius and Settimo, could soon be returned to his homeland.

The Carabinieri of the Quartu Operations Unit and of the local station, thanks also to the collaboration of the community that hosted the victim, managed to track down a cousin of the man in Tuscany and trace his brother who is in Nigeria .

The 46-year-old also worked in Settimo San Pietro for several years. On Sunday morning he was returning to his center in Selargius after spending the night with friends, when he was hit and killed by a BMW driven by a girl from Assemini . There were three other people on board the car: they ended up in hospital with yellow code, but have all been discharged.
