More than 40 interventions were carried out by the personnel of the Nuoro Fire Brigade Command following the violent storm that hit the city of Bosa yesterday starting at 4 pm, causing the flooding of numerous streets.

The Fire Brigade operated with 7 teams on site, some in Fluvial Alluvial configuration with specific equipment such as pumps to allow the emptying of flooded cellars.

The Coc for emergency management was opened in the municipality where the guard officer arrived on site from Nuoro and the Provincial Commander who coordinated the operations from the Provincial Operations Room are present. On site, thanks to the support of the regional management of the Fire Brigade, the teams from the Cuglieri, Bono and Abbasanta detachments also arrived.

These have been very difficult hours. The first real emergency faced by the mayor Alfonso Marras who defined the situation as "exceptional": flooding and damage occurred in various areas of the city, fortunately no injuries were reported .
