Five months ago, in the "Shock Plan" of 13 million euros to reduce waiting lists, there was (also) an item dedicated to colonoscopy, 750 thousand euros for an acceleration of the most difficult diagnostic test to do. Well, today everything is as usual: colonoscopy cannot be booked, anywhere on the Island.

The list of unattainable services is long , and the appeal of the Minister of Health Orazio Schillaci to the Regions (all without distinction) – he spoke of "unworthy situations", of a "no longer tolerable framework" – for Sardinia is fully justified.

In Cagliari, for example, there are no spaces for nephrological, rheumatological, allergological, immunological visits ; for an endocrinological visit there are some dates in December, before, in July in Carloforte; for a gastroenterological one in April of next year, for an eye visit soon you have to go to Sorgono.
