Ready to take to the streets to defend services, assistance and jobs in the Sassari health sector.

The confederal and territorial secretariats of CGIL, CISL and UIL launch the challenge to the Region asking for immediate interventions on several fronts : from the shortage of personnel to the adaptation of contracts, from the realization of planned but never carried out building interventions - such as the doubling of the emergency room – the disbursement of regional resources for accredited private companies that carry out the public service under agreements.

"We reiterate the difficulties associated with the recruitment of personnel for rehabilitation and mental health assistance services and denounce the serious and unacceptable breaches of contract to the detriment of workers in the public and private system and the service offered to the population", write the unions.

«We ask for an immediate intervention by the health councilor and the involvement of all the regional councilors of the territory . Staff shortages, the concrete risk of losing beds and services related to mental health as well as contractual and wage issues deserve the utmost attention and maximum commitment on the part of everyone», the acronyms continue. "In the meantime - they announce - also considering the numerous reports that rightly arrive from all workplaces, we reserve the right to take the appropriate protest and mobilization initiatives , in order to guarantee and respect the work and the levels of assistance in the area".
