"We are sharpening our weapons and will defend our prerogatives" . This is how Governor Alessandra Todde returns to comment on the challenge by the Meloni Government of the regional law on the reorganization of Sardinia's health system.
An appeal that the governor – on the sidelines of a conference at the headquarters of the Fondazione di Sardegna for the presentation of the "Letta Report" – defines as "political".
"When we do not get into the merits of the law, but get into the merits of politics, trying to politicize health even more, we are facing a path that must not see us as accomplices. For this reason we will bring our prerogatives before the Constitutional Court" , says Todde, according to whom the law on health "represents an important challenge" that has the objective of reducing long waiting lists and that "must lead in six months (so after the commissioners, ed.) to having general managers who truly represent a change of pace".
However, the appointment of commissioners of the ASL continues to be a source of discussion , even within the majority, with the Democratic Party contesting the merit and method of the appointments .
In addition to the weight of the appeal, the controversy is now also fueled by the new items in the contract . The reform that should have been zero-cost provides, in addition to the salaries of the commissioners, also reimbursements for expenses incurred for travel, food and accommodation.
