Head-on collision on Alghero-Olmedo: two in hospital, one in serious condition
One of the injured was in desperate conditions; shears and spreaders were used to free him from the tangle of sheet metal.

Terrible accident this morning around 7 on provincial road 19 between Alghero and Olmedo.
Two cars collided head-on for reasons yet to be ascertained.
On site were the firefighters from the Alghero detachment, the Carabinieri, the traffic police and the 118 personnel.
The two drivers were rushed to the emergency room in Sassari. One is said to be in desperate conditions. Shears and spreaders were used to free him from the tangle of metal.
