Intervention by the Flying Squad late yesterday evening in via Lunigiana in Cagliari, where a young man was reported fumbling among parked cars.

When the crew passed through the area, they noticed a man corresponding to the report who, at the sight of the agents, accelerated his pace trying to evade control.

After being stopped during the check, the man was found in possession of two knives hidden in the pockets of his jacket while objects were found in the plastic bags he was carrying, which were later found to belong to parked cars parked between via Lunigiana and via Val d'Elsa.

The arrested, 32-year-old originally from Senegal, had taken from the vehicles a 24-hour briefcase, a ball, a blanket and various objects that were recognized by the owners of the "visited" cars. During the complaint, all the objects recovered were handed over to their legitimate owners.

After the investigations, the foreigner was investigated in a state of freedom for aggravated and continued theft, carrying weapons and objects capable of offending and receiving stolen goods.
