He roams the street brandishing a 30 cm long knife: fear in Villasimius

A 33-year-old was reported by the Carabinieri of San Vito and will have to answer for illegal carrying of weapons and aggravated threat.

The man was noticed, on Thursday evening, in Villasimius, in via del Mare, while in a state of psychophysical alteration he was wandering around with a 30 cm long kitchen knife.

After the 112 call, the soldiers of the Radiomobile of the San Vito Company and a patrol from the local station intervened on the spot, who stopped and identified him.

Subsequent investigations and the collection of testimonies then revealed that, in addition to having terrorized passers-by by brandishing the weapon, the man had also entered a pizzeria hurling threats at the owner, another behavior for which he will have to report to the judicial authority.
