There were long minutes of tension during the night, just before 5, in the emergency room of the Santissima Trinità hospital in Cagliari .

A woman, in an altered psychophysical state, perhaps from alcohol, taken in charge shortly before in the center by the 118 volunteers, went into a rage because she refused to be treated by doctors.

She first yanked the operators, then lay down on the sidewalk in front of the ambulance entrance. When a vehicle arrived with a patient on board, one of the rescuers had to get off to move her by weight.

But that's not all: once inside, the woman kicked in the door of the triage area, destroying it.

With difficulty, the staff managed to restore calm in a difficult night for the hospital.
