The 43-year-old man who escaped arrest on Saturday night in Oristano turned himself in to the Nuoro prison.

The Carabinieri had arrived at his home to execute a detention order for multiple convictions, but the 43-year-old managed to escape, thanks in part to the intervention of his father, who attempted to stop the action, injuring one of them and fracturing his hand.

The man was later arrested for assault and resisting arrest , while the 43-year-old fled.

On Monday, the decision was made to present himself voluntarily to the authorities.
