The Regional Councilor for the Defense of the Environment Gianni Lampis has given the green light to the hunting of Sardinian hares and partridges for another two Sundays.

"A further day of hunting of the Sardinian hare and the Sardinian partridge is authorized - explains Villa Devoto - on 24 October 2021, in the free hunting area. Following the monitoring of the animals killed in the previous days and on the basis of the approved slaughter quota from Ispra two days of hunting are authorized for the same species on the days of 24 October 2021 and 31 October 2021, in the self-managed hunting schools that have carried out the censuses and have Plans with positive results. The maximum daily bag allowed is of a Sardinian hare and a Sardinian Partridge ".

The seasonal game bag remains unchanged, established by the Decree on 6 October, which includes 2 heads of Sardinian hare and 2 heads of Sardinian partridge.

Furthermore, in the free hunting area of the Sardinia Region, which falls within the Natura 2000 network sites, the collection of the Sardinian Partridge is not allowed.
