New cocaine seizure in the port of Livorno and once again the investigations also lead to Sardinia.

The personnel of the Fiamme Gialle, coordinated by the provincial commander, Colonel Cesare Antuofermo, arrested three people on charges of international drug trafficking.

In a container coming from South America, approximately forty kilograms of cocaine were found and seized.

The operation, conducted by the Livorno Group's financial police together with the Customs Agency, also concerns Sardinia. In fact, part of the cocaine seized in the Tuscan port could have been taken from the Island's drug dealing areas.

The Guardia di Finanza has already reconstructed a series of connections with the investigations on people arrested in the ports of Olbia and Golfo Aranci.

The investigation is ongoing and there are no further details at this time. The investigators are also focusing on a possible exchange of cocaine entering and marijuana leaving the Gallura ports.
