An agreement has been reached between the Region and the unions on the Rar , the additional regional resources for the recognition of higher salaries for hospital staff.

80 gross euros per hour are foreseen for doctors and 50 for sector personnel in relation to specific projects that are the objective of the Sardinian healthcare companies for the enhancement of services and the reduction of waiting lists.

«The funds available, 8 million euros, were divided between the Local Health Authorities and the hospitals according to parameters that were shared with the trade union organizations to try to favor the offices where today there are the strongest shortages in terms of personnel or where in any case the volume of activity is particularly high compared to the field forces», the words of the councilor Carlo Doria .

«For Nuoro, for example, which together with San Francesco represents the third pole of hospital health on the island and today has to deal with important critical issues due to the lack of personnel, we have made available just under 1.8 million euros, the largest amount, to give the ASL a budget adequate to the needs. In this formula, the RARs also represent an incentive for doctors, nurses and technicians working in other companies on the island who want to work in hospitals in the area".

«In addition to the agreement on the Rar - adds Doria - we have shared with the unions the contents of another important contractual institution, that of additional personnel services which is the subject of a new agreement in progress which will be signed in the next few days. In this context, fully implementing the provisions of the 'Bills' decree, converted into law, we have established the recognition of a greater incentive for personnel working in the emergency rooms and in the structures belonging to the emergency-urgency departments quantifiable in the amount of up to 100 euros gross per hour for doctors and up to 50 euros gross per hour for personnel in the sector".

Still on additional services, the criteria that will concern all the other disciplines were also shared with the unions and for which "we have foreseen - explains Doria again - an amount of up to 80 euros gross per hour for doctors and up to 60 euros gross 'now for the personnel of the sector, who will then be the object of definition in the decentralized bargaining between the unions themselves and the companies".

Particular attention for radiology technicians dedicated to radiotherapy "who will thus be able to receive a just incentive and recognition in the face of the performance enhancement plan resulting from the important technological modernization of radiotherapy in Businco", the conclusion.
