The red code was triggered in Gonnosfanadiga following the victim's complaint: yesterday the carabinieri of the local station subjected a 37-year-old unemployed local man with no criminal record and the precautionary measure of removal.
The man returned to his parents' home and apparently mistreated his wife in the house where he lived together with his minor children.
The 37-year-old was also banned from approaching his spouse and children from whom he must maintain a minimum distance of 500 metres. He cannot even contact the woman by telephone or other means.
It will be controlled via an electronic bracelet placed on the 37-year-old's wrist and a cell phone with GPS that the woman will always have to carry with her. The Cagliari Carabinieri operations center will receive an alert as soon as the two devices are less than 500 meters away.
