"Whoever knows something, speak up to help us get the answers we're looking for." This is the appeal, launched in front of the cameras of "Who has seen it?", by Lidia, mother of Giacomo Solinas , the 39-year-old from Gonnesa who disappeared into thin air on 8 July 2023.

“I'm leaving to go to work on the Costa Smeralda,” Solinas had told his parents and sister that day. He then left the house with a backpack and a duffle bag. Since then nothing more has been heard of him.

The searches carried out after the alarm had allowed us to find the bag , but there was no trace of Giacomo. We certainly know that he headed towards the countryside, as shown by the footage from some video surveillance cameras . But what happened to him remains a mystery.

However, during Wednesday evening's episode, the broadcast hosted by Federica Sciarelli showed new elements on what appears to all intents and purposes to be a detective story. These were highlighted by the criminologist Gianni Spoletti , who is dealing with the case.

In one of the latest videos depicting Solinas, the 39-year-old walks on the side of a country road and, just before disappearing from the camera's view, he seems to raise a hand, in a sort of greeting. To who? To anyone who knew him? Someone who was waiting for him? Someone who put him in the car to take him towards Cagliari? Questions that still remain unanswered.

Not only. Spoletti discovered that someone, after Solinas' disappearance, tried to access his email account . Several times and without success, so much so that today the account is blocked.

Finally, another mystery. In fact, it turns out that Giacomo, before disappearing, removed the location tracking from his smartphone, made a phone call for a few seconds, and then the cell phone was turned off . Why?

«We do not believe – says Spoletti – in Giacomo's voluntary disappearance. We believe he was helped by someone to disappear into thin air." A belief that also belongs to the family, who do not want to give in to the idea of some extreme gesture by the 39-year-old made in the Gonnesa countryside. Giacomo's parents and sister therefore turn to that very person: "Give us some clues to get to the truth, because - concluded the 39-year-old's mother - the worst thing that can be is silence".
