Fatal accident tonight near Golfo Aranci. It happened just before 6pm along the provincial road 82, near Sos Aranzos.
A woman driving a Dacia, for reasons not yet ascertained, lost control of the car and repeatedly hit the guard rail, before finishing her race against a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction.
The woman driving the car ended up in the hospital in Olbia, the mother who was traveling on the passenger side lost her life. The victim was about seventy years old, her name is Maria Immacolata Degortes.
On site, the Sassari firefighters who collaborated with the 118 health workers in rescuing and secured the area of the accident, as well as the police who intervened to investigate the case and to ascertain the causes of the tragedy.
