The "Due Ruote Maracalagonis" association celebrates its oldest members, Giustino Ximenes, 87, and Piero Callai, 85, who continue to live their passion by traveling almost every day (even in the rain) on their Vespa, also traveling the streets of the island's villages together with other younger members.
"Two extraordinary people, the pride of our association," says President Marco Saddi, "and they certainly represent an example of vitality, passion, and love for the Vespa."
Giustino Ximenes and Piero Callai have been riding their Vespas since they were very young. They also participate in official competitions held in various parts of Sardinia.
"Their presence, along with so many young people," adds Mascia, "is a testament to how the passion for two wheels knows no age and continues to unite generations of enthusiasts, transforming every ride into a moment of socializing and fun."
The Maracalagonis Two Wheels Association invites anyone who shares its passion to participate in its weekly outings, where young and old alike "can enjoy ever-changing and extraordinary experiences while also exploring the environment."
