The road homicide that cost the life of the young Russian Polina Cherednik , 24, is without culprits.

The judge of the Court of Oristano this morning acquitted the accused Antonio Michele La Robina, from Macomer, for not having committed the crime.

The accident dates back to four years ago: the young woman was crossing the road in Viale Nenni in Macomer and was hit.

The prosecutor had asked for a three-year sentence for the accused, while the lawyer Rossella Oppo had asked for acquittal, raising the objection of nullity of the investigations carried out immediately after the episode.

The judge therefore accepted the defense's argument.
