Giovanna Serra from Oristano is the new president of the Sardinian Federation of Engineers' Orders.

The appointment took place during the first meeting of the board which will remain in office until 2025.

Serra, former president of the Order of Engineers of Oristano, replaces Giuseppe Garau from Cagliari.

For the role of secretary, the assembly instead chose Angelica Sedda , a professional from Oristano, to replace the outgoing Angelo Loggia.

«The primary objective of the new coordination group will be to continue the commitment to give unity and cohesion to the category, to strengthen the positions of Sardinian engineers in the regional debate - explains the new president -. Among the main issues to be pursued are certainly the approval of a new town planning law and the application of the procurement code being introduced at a national level, the correct interpretation of which is essential for engineers working in the public administration and for fellow freelancers. We will also carry on the work on the Report of tenders for Engineering and Architecture Services and the activity of reporting anomalies to the administrations".
