Antonino Demelas, already under investigation for the murder of his partner Marina Castangia, the hairdresser originally from Cabras who vanished into thin air a year ago , ended up in his cell with an equally heavy accusation: child abuse.

Last Saturday the carabinieri presented themselves in the house in via Vittorio Emanuele in Mogorella with a precautionary custody order: the 69-year-old former cook was involved in another investigation into the alleged sexual abuse of a child. Since that moment he has been in the Massama prison, where the guarantee interrogation took place in recent days. Assisted by the lawyer Mario Gusi, he did not answer the questions of the judge for preliminary investigations Federica Fulgheri.

A defensive choice while waiting to have all the documents of the investigation in hand, coordinated by the prosecutor Armando Mammone.

The new investigation could also lead to the turning point for the mystery of Mogorella: the two episodes could be connected, one the cause of the other.

On the part of the investigators there is maximum confidentiality but the suspicions of alleged episodes of pedophilia had already crept in in recent months. To unleash them Antonio Castangia, Marina's brother, who has never resigned himself and has always asked for justice to be done and for the truth about the disappearance of his sister to be reached.
