Almost three kilos of undocumented food products were seized at the Olbia airport by officials of the Customs Agency.

They were in the suitcases of three passengers from non-EU countries. These are various fruits and vegetables, meats and dairy products of Ghanaian, US and Israeli origin.

The goods, in accordance with the law, will be destroyed, while at the island's customs - explains a note from the Agency - controls against the introduction of potentially harmful products will continue to be more stringent, above all with the increase in the tourist influx during of the summer season.
