Three arrests, the seizure of over two kilos of cocaine, hashish, and marijuana, as well as nearly 16,000 euros in cash.

This is the result of two operations conducted in the last few hours by the Cagliari State Police.

The first operation was launched after the identification of a young man from Cagliari living in the CEP, believed to be a hub for drug trafficking in the capital. The officers followed him on his way to work, but avoided immediately arresting him to avoid alerting any accomplices inside his home, which was protected by a sophisticated video surveillance system.

The search began in Monserrato. The man immediately appeared nervous and was searched: he had 25 grams of cocaine on him. But the true quantity was hidden elsewhere. A house search uncovered more drugs and approximately €8,000 in cash. When pressed, the young man confirmed that he also owned a garage in Selargius, the actual drug stash. There, nine blocks of hashish, marijuana, and more cocaine were found, for a total of approximately two kilos of the drug, which led to his being sent to Uta prison.

In a second operation, the Flying Hawks searched a house in Decimomannu, where they arrested two more individuals, found in possession of 100 grams of marijuana flowers and €8,000 in cash. Both were arrested and required to sign in.
