Wanted for international drug trafficking , an Italian citizen, born and residing in Belgium, was arrested in Lodè by the Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Bitti.

A European arrest warrant hung on him.

Since January of this year the Operational Unit of the Carabinieri Company of Bitti together with the Carabinieri of the Lodè Station has started observation services and an investigative activity aimed at locating the man who had evidently been reported in the area.

He was blocked in a street in Lodè and associated with the Nuoro Prison at the disposal of the Judicial Authority. There are no other details at the moment.
