Within this month, the Regional Council will decide to start the construction of the new structures, as envisaged in the health reform. The location will be announced by then. But the first will certainly be in Sassari .

This was announced by the president of the Region Christian Solinas precisely in Sassari, speaking at the conference on the post-pandemic of Covid-19 organized by the local University in the presence of the Undersecretary of Health Pierpaolo Sileri .

"The first hospital on which we will deliberate - said Solinas - is the hospital of Sassari which has the sacrosanct right to have a structure that is at the height of a health center like that of the north west of Sardinia".

"To speed up the times, I am already saying that we will choose a public area - continued the governor - that of the former Agricultural Institute which is located in a road network that allows access from different positions, has adequate space and will allow for a reduction in the times of important achievement ".

"It will be a modern hospital , Solinas assured, which develops horizontally and can reconcile high intensity of care distinct from low intensity, and which has an operating block worthy of the name".
