Found dead after the SOS sent from the boat: tragedy in La Maddalena
The victim announced the "may day" during an outing at sea. Coast guard and firefighters find the lifeless body on the islet of Corcelli

Tragedy in La Maddalena, where the lifeless body of a man was found, who shortly before had sent an SOS while on board a sailing boat.
After the "may day", the Fire Brigade and the Coast Guard intervened on site. Also in action is a helicopter from the Alghero Flight Department and the 115 helicopter-borne diving unit.
During the research, the remains of the fiberglass boat and the shipwrecked man lying on the rocks, lifeless, were found near the islet of Corcelli .
The fire brigade divers then proceeded to recover the body and hand it over to the competent authority.
The causes of the incident are now being investigated.
