A letter to the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and another to the governor Christian Solinas . The administrator of the Province of Sassari Pietro Fois , the vice president of the Metropolitan Network Maria Conoci and the coordinator of the Tips (Table of Institutions of Social Partnerships) Pier Luigi Ledda , on the eve of the first mobilization scheduled for Monday 3 April at the Alghero airport, they took pen and paper to represent the great and common concern about the economic and social conditions and prospects that characterize the north-west of Sardinia. «A delicate emergency situation that requires a convergence of actions of regional and national responsibility. For these reasons and with these concerns, the States General have shared the proposals and the path developed in the confrontation between the institutions and social partners of the territory ", reads the note sent to Palazzo Chigi.

"A path of awareness and mobilization aimed at bringing about a real, decisive and immediate change in policies, starting with those for development and employment". The reference is to the Development Pact of the Province of Sassari signed in 2021 and never implemented. "Starting from four points that we have defined as priorities: energy and industry, health, mobility and transport, inland areas, strategic works and territorial security". A real turning point is also being asked of President Solinas. «A turning point in the ability to act and implement programming, planning and implementation. A turning point in investments in tangible and intangible infrastructure, to remove those constraints that affect the competitiveness of the territory and businesses and the opportunities for individuals and families". In the meantime, the institutional structure needs to be defined, restoring size and authority to the entities, given that the Province is a commissioner and the Metropolitan Network without funding has not been put in a position to play a driving role .

Then the unfinished ones , such as, for example, the Sassari Alghero road or the Maternal and Infant hospital and the doubling of the Sassari emergency room . «Finally, we believe it is necessary to open a discussion on an "extraordinary plan" that promotes the implementation of the development model and the shared paths of integrated local development, promotion of work and employment contained in the "Pact for the Development of the Province of Sassari" at starting from four priority points discussed in the meeting of the States General which we will enhance, in the month of April, through 4 sit-in demonstrations : Alghero, on Transport, mobility and networks (April 3); Porto Torres, on Industry and energy (April 17); Ozieri, in Social-welfare-health (April 20); in Pattada, on inland areas, Strategic Works and Territorial Security (April 27)», concludes the letter.
