Car in embankment, four young people dead: tragedy in Fonni
They were between 17 and 20 years old. The causes of the accident are still being ascertained.

Four boys, all from Fonni, died last night in a terrible road accident at around 11.51pm which occurred on the SP69 just outside the town of Fonni .
A car, a Fiat Punto, lost control on a bend for reasons currently being investigated, overturned and ended up in a ditch.
The victims are Michele Coinu, 20, who was perhaps driving the red Fiat Punto of 18-year-old Marco Innocenti. With them were Michele Soddu, 20, and Lorenzo Figus, 17. They were thrown from the car and unfortunately all died. There had been no news of the group since the afternoon, so much so that friends and acquaintances had started looking for them. There is no guard rail on that stretch of road a short distance from the Caravai barracks. The relatives of one of the four were not even in town: they had left for a cruise and are trying to return.
On site, the fire brigade team assisted the 118 personnel and the Carabinieri for the routine investigations, after which it was possible to secure the site.
