The Government has allocated 15 million euros, recovered from the funds of the NRP, for the interventions to reduce the hydrogeological risk in Bitti and for the management of the emergency after the flood of November 28, 2020 .

It is the result of teamwork carried out in recent months between the National Civil Protection Department, the commissioner structure at the Regional Civil Protection, the Sardinia Region and the Municipality. The new loan completes the interventions already financed with 19 million by the Government, with 11 million by the Region and by another 5 million euros received through an amendment presented in last year's financial planning law by Senator Giuseppe Luigi Cucca.

A total of 50 million which in large part are already available to the Commissioner for the emergency, Pasquale Antonio Belloi, and the Municipality of Bitti. "This is extraordinary news that comes almost unexpected at a time when we are already strongly committed to stemming the Covid emergency and that leaves us particularly satisfied - says Mayor Giuseppe Ciccolini -. I thank the Commissioner Belloi structure, that of the Region Sardinia and the president Christian Solinas, the Department of National Civil Protection and the Government for the great attention shown to the Municipality of Bitti ".
