Flames in the countryside between Sennori and Osilo: trees devoured by fire

Fire and fear this morning in the countryside of Sennori and Osilo. The flames, visible from the Monte Furru area, from one of the local roads of Sassari, attacked the vegetation and burned various plants and trees in the land that extend into the countryside between the two municipalities of Romangia, a vast fire that required the intervention of a helicopter, which went into action to tame the flames.

The fire that started around 6am was extinguished after about two hours of intervention by the firefighters of the provincial command of Sassari, who managed to circumscribe the affected area preventing the tongues of fire from spreading further. An extinguishing operation that kept them busy until 8 am when the remediation of the entire affected area began.
