More fires in Sardinia.

Of the 14 fires, three were the most challenging for the Forestry Corps which, in addition to the teams on the ground, also used the aircraft of the regional firefighting service to put them out.

In Burgos, in the “Nodu Erighina” area, the shutdown was coordinated by the staff of the Bono Forestry Corps Station, assisted by the staff on board the helicopters coming from the CFVA bases of Anela and Farcana. Two teams from the Forestas Agency from the Bono "Santu Matteu" and Bono "Pedras Rujas" shipyards intervened, a team from the Fire Brigade, two teams from the barracellari companies of Bottida and Esporlatu. The fire covered an area of approximately 1.5 hectares of oak undergrowth.

In Riola Sardo, "Baracca su Tuffa", the fire extinguishing was coordinated by the staff of the Oristano Forestry Corps Station, assisted by the staff on board the helicopter coming from the CFVA base of Fenosu. Two teams from the Forestas Agency from the Zeddiani "Vivaio" and Narbolia "Is Arenas" shipyards and a team from the Riola Sardo Barracellare Company intervened. The fire hit an olive grove.

In Suni, in the “Adde S. Maria” area, the fire extinguishing was coordinated by the staff of the Bosa Forestry Corps Station, assisted by the staff on board the helicopter coming from the CFVA base in Bosa. A team from CFVA-GAUF-Oristano intervened. The fire devastated a tree-lined pasture and Mediterranean scrub.
