Flames at the Ottana photovoltaic plant, 5 hectares in smoke

In the photovoltaic system of the industrial area of Ottana there was a huge fire this afternoon. The cause is probably due to a technical fault.

About 5 hectares of land were affected by the flames that also enveloped some strings of panels and the relative control panels.

Firefighters intervened on the spot.

From the first inspection the hypothesis of the electrical cause emerges given that the whole area is fenced and difficult to access from the outside .
