Five fires were recorded today in Sardinia and one of these required the intervention of an aircraft from the regional fleet.

In Monastir, in the “Boscu Mameli” area, the fire extinguishing was coordinated by the staff of the Dolianova Forestry Corps Station, together with the helicopter coming from the CFVA base of Villasalto and the GAUF of the Cagliari Forestry Corps.

A team from the Forestas Agency of Monastir-Santa Lucia and a team of the Volunteers of Monastir-Orsa S. Lucia operated on site.

The operations to shut down the aircraft ended shortly after 6pm. The clean-up activities were carried out by the CFVA patrol.
