First fires, scorching afternoon in Oristano: all firefighter teams at work

Hot, sunny. And fires. This afternoon all the teams of the Oristano fire department command were engaged in putting out various brush fires: two from the headquarters, from Ales, from Abbasanta and from Cuglieri.
The fires affected the territories of Siamaggiore (two), Torre del Pozzo in the Cuglieri marina, Paulilatino and Baressa.
But the largest one was faced in the hamlet of Santa Lucia in Zeddiani, where it also threatened some homes: the intervention of two tankers from the headquarters to support the teams was also necessary.
During the day shift, there were 24 calls to 115 with the consequent intervention from the Headquarters (13) and from the detachments of Ales (4), Abbasanta (3) and Cuglieri (4).
