Carabinieri officers from the Cagliari Company's Operational and Radiomobile Unit arrested three women—aged 22, 26, and 35, respectively—on charges of brawling and resisting arrest during the night between Saturday and Sunday.

The three, all foreign nationals and residents of the Cagliari area, were spotted by a Carabinieri patrol arguing and fighting on the side of the road, clearly in a state of psycho-physical alteration, likely caused by alcohol abuse.

The Carabinieri, while attempting to quell the fight, were attacked and kicked and even spat on by one of the contenders.

Once calm was restored, the women were taken to the police station for the usual checks and declared under arrest, pending the decision of the judicial authorities.
