A meeting to take stock of the fire prevention plans was held today at the headquarters of the Civil Protection of Sardinia. The summit was attended by the regional councilor for environmental defense, Gianni Lampis, the general directors of the forestry corps, Carlo Masnata, of the Forestas agency, Maurizio Mallocci, and of civil protection, Antonio Pasquale Belloi.

The situation with respect to the personnel and the means available was illustrated and the need to share the text of the Plans with the fire brigade was also reiterated. The need to homogenize the seven plans to be included in the Prai and, as far as volunteers are concerned, the opportunity to move from operational plans to agreements, thus aligning with other Italian regions, was also stressed.

For the commissioner Lampis it was an “operational and constructive meeting between the main components involved in the regional system. We have examined the situation of the complex organizational machine, so as to be ready for the start of the fire season ".
