Thirteen fires broke out in a few hours in Sardinia on Saturday 24 June.
In Zerfaliu, the intervention of air vehicles was necessary to put out the flames that affected the area of Rodia su strampu.
On the spot the men of the Oristano Forestry Corps, the Forestas Agency teams, volunteers and even firefighters, supported by a helicopter that took off from Fenosu.
Another challenging fire in the Cagliari area , with the extinguishing operations coordinated by the personnel of the Forestry Corps Station of Dolianova and by the Cagliari Gauf, assisted by the personnel on board the helicopter from the Villasalto base.
The teams of the Forestas Agency from the Monastir construction site, the Fire Brigade team of Cagliari and the teams of volunteers from Sinnai, Settimo San Pietro and Monastir also intervened on the spot.
The fire covered an area of about 30 hectares of uncultivated land, arable land and orchards.
