Fire in San Teodoro, 15 houses evacuated

The first large fire broke out in San Teodoro , in the "Cantonera" area. About 15 houses were evacuated as a precaution because they were invaded by smoke, the fire also damaged a tracked operating machine. The fire covered an area of about 3 hectares of pastures.
The shutdown was coordinated by the personnel of the Siniscola Forestry station, supported by the Gauf personnel of Nuoro and by the personnel on board the helicopter from the Alà dei Sardi base. A team from the Forestas Agency from the San Teodoro construction site, one from the town's barracella company and one from the Siniscola fire brigade also attended.
The second fire broke out in Bulzi, in the "M.Ena" locality: the extinguishing was coordinated by the Nulvi station. The intervention of a helicopter is also necessary. The fire covered an area of approximately 7 hectares of wooded and bushy pastures.
