Moments of fear this evening in Quartu due to a fire in an apartment in a building in via Pizzetti.

Firefighters rushed to the scene and worked to put out the flames. 118 ambulances also arrived: rescuers took care of some slightly intoxicated tenants. Possible transport to hospital should be considered.

The people present in the building left their homes as a precaution, waiting for the conclusion of the firefighters' operations. The police are also on site.

The fire appears to be accidental in nature and investigations are underway by the police at the Viale Marconi barracks.
