Quartu, apartment on fire: a woman burned and hospitalized in serious condition

Fire alarm in Quartu.

The flames broke out around 5pm inside an apartment on the seventh floor of a building in via Germania.

Consequences for a woman who was inside, who was rescued by firefighters who intervened on site after the alarm

The woman was taken to safety via the ladder truck and then entrusted to the 118 staff for transport to hospital, under code red. This is a seventy-year-old woman who suffered burns to her hands and body and is in serious condition.

Other condominiums were also evacuated, then the firefighters themselves began operations to extinguish the fire.

The damage appears extensive.
