Arson and aggravated damage. These are the accusations with which a 37-year-old was arrested by the carabinieri of the Cagliari Radiomobile.
The man, of Nigerian origin and resident in San Gavino Monreale, yesterday morning broke into a luggage storage, tried to damage a video surveillance system camera with a plastic bottle and from the room he took two tubs for separate collection , placing them outside.
He also managed to snatch a second camera from the wall, threw it into a tub and set it on fire with a lighter.
Tracked down by the military in the area of Piazza del Carmine, he was searched and found in possession of the lighter, probably used for the stake.
Today a very direct hearing is scheduled for the man.
