William Salis, the 25-year-old who was driving the motorcycle from which his cousin Nicola Salis, 27, was thrown, is hospitalized in intensive care. His death occurred last night shortly before 9:00 PM in Selargius, on provincial road 15. Doctors at the Brotzu hospital where the young man is being treated are keeping his prognosis confidential: his condition remains critical.

Meanwhile, the picture of the dynamics of the terrible accident seems to be becoming clearer.

According to reports , the car driven by a woman, a Ford C-Max, had just made a turn coming from Via Archimede. The motorcycle carrying the two young men, headed toward Highway 554, struck the right front corner of the car. The victim was thrown from the vehicle, and several impacts, unfortunately, proved fatal.

The cousin was rescued by 118 emergency workers who rushed him, in a desperate rush, to the hospital in Piazzale Ricchi. There, they now hope, awaiting good news.
