The well-known entrepreneur Domenico Manca, from Alghero, founder and father of the famous Olio San Giuliano, an excellence of the territory, died today at the age of 87.

«The city loses a far-sighted entrepreneur, who contributed to making the name of Alghero known throughout the world», says mayor Mario Conoci, who joins in the family's grief and expresses great closeness to the entire company.

«With him», adds the mayor, «a historic piece of that class of entrepreneurs who made the world of Alghero, Sardinian and Italian olive growing great, building a company at the forefront of the sector, the result of great work, knowledge and commitment. All qualities which - I am sure - remain firm and imprinted in the great legacy that the family will be able to valorise".
