Farewell to Cagliari lawyer Carlo Dore, who died at the age of 85. Born in Cagliari, he served as a city councilor for Cagliari (1994-1998) and as a regional councilor for one term (1999-2004).

He served as Belgian consul for Sardinia. He was regional president of the ANPPIA association, the national association of Italian anti-fascist political persecutors.

He devoted himself to historical research. He wrote books on the Sardinian anti-fascists Vittore Bocchetta and Cesare Pintus. In another volume, he commemorated Antonio Romagnino, "poet of the city of the sun."
