Arson attack emergency in Olbia, with dozens of cars burned in recent weeks: the Prefecture intervenes.
«These acts in Olbia and in the rest of the province are individually the subject of investigations by the judicial police and of careful analysis on our part to identify possible preventive measures»: these are the words of the prefect of Sassari, Grazia La Fauci, following the escalation of fire that is hitting the Gallura city.
«For the summer season, as announced, the implementation of the reinforcements that are destined every year to the tourist centers of the province will be requested. For the reorganization and strengthening of the Gallura garrisons, discussions are underway with the Ministry of the Interior", concludes the prefect.
At the beginning of the month, a summit of the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Security was held in the Prefecture, in Sassari, precisely to focus on the crime emergency in Gallura. During the meeting, which was attended by the mayors of the area, the representatives of the police forces, the general prosecutor of the Republic at the Court of Appeal of Cagliari, Luigi Patronaggio, and the prosecutor of Tempio Pausania, Gregorio Capasso, it was The need for preventative and social interventions to stem the severe juvenile distress and petty crime was also underlined.
