“ Biodiversity in celebration ” is the title of the event that the CEAS “Monte Minerva” – Center for Environmental Education and Sustainability, of the Municipality of Villanova Monteleone , will host on 27 and 28 May . Two days dedicated to the environment, culture, art, history and recreational moments in the splendid natural setting of the "Minerva" area , between the sea on the north-western coast, the lake of Monteleone Rocca Doria and the suggestive panoramas of Villanova.

"The event - underlines the mayor of Villanova Monteleone Vincenzo Ligios - is open to all , and intends to promote the area of Monte Minerva as a gateway to the West for the discovery of the territory of the Rural District of Villanova , recently recognized by the Region Sardinia and included in the national list of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry».

The event calendar is full of appointments and activities . It will be possible to visit the CEAS Center for Environmental Education and Sustainability and the opposite Garden of Biodiversity, enriched in this edition by installations on the fascinating world of bees . Visitors will be able to participate in creative-experiential workshops for children and adults, visit the pictorial exhibition "Le Divinità di Minerva", organized by the Painting School of Maestro Max Mazzoli , and the exhibition of the regional agency Fo.Re.STAS. "The Treasures of an Island" dedicated to the discovery of the charm and the thousand curiosities about the wildlife of Sardinia.

«The Municipality of Villanova – affirm, with a pinch of pride, Giuseppina Murgia and Cosetta Sanna, Councilor for Tourism and Culture – with its own CEAS, certified by the Region of Sardinia as a center of excellence, intends to promote education and economy of sustainability, to make Monte Minerva an attraction, not only naturalistic, but also cultural, artistic and for the promotion of tourism and quality local products».

With the expert guidance of the CEAS operators, it will also be possible to visit the nearby Domus de Janas of Monte Minerva and the wonders of the Garden of Biodiversity, with the inauguration on the morning of Saturday 27 May of the artistic works created by the children of the Istituto Comprensivo Statale " Eleonora d'Arborea” of the Municipality of Villanova Monteleone. Two open moments in the afternoon: a meeting dedicated to all "The Other Diversities" to chat together about possible happiness in the 21st century, between poetry, ecology, civil commitment and love for wild animals and companions.

«Saturday 27 May at sunset we will offer visitors a "surprise" aperitif under the large secular olive tree - say the CEAS operators, Ilaria Cossu and Alida Manca, now known as "the girls of Minerva" - with the intention of enlivening the party as a true moment of participation, of sharing diversity as a richness, to help everyone defend the beauty of our territory and precious human relationships".
