Endless expectations in the emergency room, in Carbonia the protest of the first aid volunteers

Protest this morning in Carbonia : protagonists are the first aid volunteers of the associations involved in the assistance of the Sulcis Iglesiente belonging to the Asl 7.

The event was organized due to the problems reported for some time and to the volunteer staff who work in 118 and who every day, with users, have to deal with the long waits for arriving in the emergency room . Especially since the Iglesias one was closed and the Carbonia garrison is the only one available for the 23 municipalities of Sulcis Iglesiente .

The associations gathered in the square outside the Sirai hospital and then in a long procession reached the ASL headquarters in Via Dalmazia where a protest sit-in is underway. On site there is also a representation of the mayors of the area.
