Emergency room, odyssey for Sardinian patients: during the holidays up to 10 hours of waiting

118 is in full chaos and patients are experiencing real odysseys in the emergency rooms of Sardinia.

During the holidays the situation worsened and in the health facilities on the island there were even 10-hour waits.

Associations complain about the chronic lack of beds and point out that in many cases ambulance stretchers are used for the sick.

Another consequence of the situation is the flight of volunteers, due to too many difficulties.
