The Government has undertaken to support Italy's candidacy for the realization of the Einstein Telescope project in the Sos Enattos mine, in Lula. The announcement comes from the deputy of Fratelli d'Italia Salvatore Deidda, who is rejoicing over the approval by the executive of an agenda presented by his party.

The document provides that all "suitable acts and initiatives, both of an economic and, where necessary, legislative nature, are adopted , expressly canceling previous measures taken which may, for proven technical-scientific reasons, cause damage to the current suitable conditions of the chosen site" .

Among these, there is also the Bitti wind farm approved by the Draghi government: the noise of the blades would disturb listening to gravitational waves, which requires total silence, for which the Einstein Telescope would be built.

Furthermore, continues the deputy, «we ask the Government to commit to spreading, through every means and communication system, both in Italy and internationally, an awareness campaign in support of the Italian candidacy. On this I am personally committing myself to involve all the great Italian excellences in the field of transport, logistics but also digital as partners and supporters of the project".
