Eight fires in Sardinia: helicopters in Cabras, Sassari, Quartu and Guasila

There are eight fires that occurred in Sardinia today and four of these required the intervention of the regional fleet's aircraft.
In Cabras , in the locality "Le baracche di su siccu", the fire extinguishing was coordinated by the staff of the Oristano Forestry Corps Station with the help of the "heavy" SuperPuma helicopter coming from the CFVA base of Fenosu. In addition to the GAUF of Oristano, the Oristano firefighters, a team from the Zeddiani Forestas Agency, and a team of volunteers from the Civil Protection operated.
In the territory of Sassari , in the "SM del Cardo" area, the activities were coordinated by the staff of the Sassari Forestry Corps Station with the helicopter coming from the CFVA base of Anela. 2 teams from the Forestas Agency of Sassari intervened. Bonassai and Sorso - Marina di Sorso, a team of the Sassari firefighters, the volunteers of the Civil Protection of Sassari and the barracelli of Sassari.
In Quartu Sant'Elena , in the “Cuccuru Dottori” area, the shutdown was coordinated by the staff of the Sinnai Forestry Corps Station assisted by the staff on board the helicopter coming from the CFVA base of Villasalto. In addition to the GAUF of Cagliari, two teams from the Forestas Agency and one from the Nuoro fire brigade, and two teams of volunteers from the Civil Protection of Quartu Sant'Elena and Sinnai intervened.
Finally, in Guasila the activities were coordinated by the staff of the Senorbì Forestry Corps Station with the helicopter coming from the CFVA base of Villasalto and Fenosu (SuperPuma). A team from the Forestas Agency of Senorbì, a team of firefighters from Sanluri, three teams of volunteers from the Civil Protection of Guasila, Villanovafranca and Sant'Andrea Frius intervened.
