Three arrests for drugs were made by the police of the Macomer mobile radio operations unit. The soldiers had reached the home of a young Romanian to serve him with a document but in the home of the young man who lives with his mother they immediately noticed a strong suspicious odor and at that point the search began.

The woman attempted to hide the marijuana, 350 grams packaged in different wrappers. The police then arrested Balcan Marian and her mother (defended by the lawyer Claretta Boassa).

The third arrest occurred when the soldiers reached the house of Giulio Mainardi, to whom they had to serve a document from another proceeding. But it was the young man who immediately confessed to the military that he had a basket with over two kilos of marijuana inflorescences and branches which, again according to the young man's story, he had collected in the countryside, probably where there was a plantation.

This morning the validation hearing was held in court in Oristano: prosecutor Daniela Caddeo had requested house arrest for Mainardi and the obligation to sign for mother and son.

Mainardi's defender, lawyer Luciano Rubattu, highlighted the young man's collaborative attitude. Judge Silvia Palmas then ordered the two young people to sign, while the woman was released. The trial is on December 1st.
